It’s The Right Thing for The Right Bank™ to do.

At Pacific Continental Bank, we believe in doing the right things the right way. We strive to be more than just bankers; the way we see it, we can and should play a role in contributing to the essential character of the communities we serve.

Our commitment to community-based banking rises to a higher level than merely supporting local businesses. We promote a corporate giving program – Giving with Heart – that matches our employees’ financial contributions and provides paid time-off when they volunteer with qualifying social and civic organizations.

2007 Corporate Giving Annual Report

Giving with Heart in 2007:

  • Pacific Continental Bank provided funding to more than 150 community organizations in Seattle and Bellevue; Portland and southwest Washington; Eugene and Springfield;
  • Pacific Continental employees contributed more than 7,000 hours of volunteer work to community organizations;
  • Pacific Continental employees organized and coordinated numerous fundraising events within the bank, collecting over $78,000 for more than 70 nonprofit organizations.

Our– Giving with Heart – programs offers two categories of assistance:

Charitable Giving - Provides financial assistance to community-based organizations in the markets we serve that qualify under our areas of support.

Employee Volunteer Support - Employees may take up to 40 hours a year of paid-time off to volunteer their time and expertise with qualifying organizations.

Eligible organizations must be a nonprofit, tax exempt, 501(c)3 organization and fall under our areas of support. See the Charitable Giving and Volunteer Support pages for details.
